Photo Gallery-Decorating from a Distance

Thank goodness for facetime!! I love being able to stay in touch with family & friends thru facetime.  Keeps us so connected.

My aunt has been working on a “coffee room” in their house for awhile now.  We usually facetime so that I can see the progress & help with decorating thoughts or suggestions.  In early Spring we met up in Chicago along with my Aunt Nina so that we could hang out.  And of course shop!! Aunt Koula (yes in case you didn’t know I’m named after her. : ) ) was looking for a table or cabinet for her coffee room.

In the  picture you can see the cabinet that we found there.  As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it.  She obviously did too.  : )  I love her  huge chalkboard she put over it.

In the corner of the next picture is this really neat old safe that my uncle’s father gave to him.  They keep their coffee machine up on top of it.

The last thing that we needed to finish to complete the room was the wall behind the couch.  She wanted another wall gallery.  Overtime she had been collecting frames and pictures.  One of my weekend trips back out to Michigan we were finally able to work on the wall gallery.  Narrowing down the pieces she LOVES verses the pieces she just LIKED, I was able to put this together for her.  I love working with her because she knows what she DOESN’T like.  That makes it so much easier when helping someone decorate.  We had a lot of fun getting this done.
